Director of Radio Biafra and leader of the Indigenous People has been freed according to reports.
Nnamdi Kanu’s attorney, Vincent Obetta yesterday filed in an application for the bail of his client and today the Federal High Court in Abuja instructed the DSS in regards to the immediate release of Nnamdi Kanu.
The Magistrate court in Abuja yesterday discharged the Biafran leader after the DSS dropped all charges against him.
Justice Adeniyi Ademola led Federal High Court ruled on Thursday that the continued immurement of Kanu by the DSS was unlawful and hereby ordered the release of Nnamdi Kanu.
Biafra faithfuls in Enugu has since taken to the streets of Ogui and New Haven to express their euphoria over the turn out of events.
