October 2, double explosions rocked Abuja with Nyanya and Kuje being the unfortunate area of event. The bomb blast left at least 20 people dead with many others injured.

The suspects who were arrested in connection to the Nyanya and Kuje Bomb Blasts  were yesterday 22nd October arraigned before a federal high court in Abuja on a five count charge  of conspiracy to carry out a bomb attack, utilizing Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), resulting in the death of scores of citizens and the injury of several others, as well as the possession of materials which could be used to make IEDs.

Four of the suspects pleaded not guilty to the charges while one of the suspects whose name was given as  Abulwaheed Nasiru, pleaded guilty to  being in possession of materials used in making bombs which he said belonged a friend who is now on the run.

The judge presiding over the case,  Justice Abdul Kafarati ordered that suspects be kept in police custody until their next appearance in court which is on November 17th and 24th. The names of the suspects where given as  Andulazeez Muhazab, Ishaka Jimoh, Mohammed Jimoh, Abdullahi Nasiru and Abulwaheed Nasiru.
