Civilian Boko Haram Fighters To Be Merged Into The Nigerian Army

Defense Minister, Mansur Muhammad Dan-Ali

Defense Minister,  Mansur Muhammad Dan-Ali has revealed that some members of the Civilian Joint Task force helping the army to combat Boko Haram in the North East will be integrated into the Nigerian army.

The Minister speaking during his  courtesy visit to Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State in Maiduguri,  acknowledged the effort of the civilians in assisting the Nigerian Army hence the decision to draft them into the Nigerian Army. That of course would be after a few reviews according to Muhammad.

President Buhari had a couple of days ago declared that Nigeria had technically won the war against Boko Haram but we know that there is a little lot more to do to finally heave a sigh of relief.
